1. Get a heads up before you even get given the task to do.
2. Work independently.
3. Figure sh** out that you get stuck on
Every workshop is going to be different so you are probably going to have to ask where you access information. Do you have workshop manuals that are files on the computer, internet based or are they old school books.
Practice your researching (which will help you when you get tasks)
Find the sump plug tension for vehicles that are in the workshop,
Find the engine oil capacity.
Find the procedure to replace a fan belt
Learn how the manual says to do a job, learn the right way
Learn to identify the product you are trying to look up. Books are usually by make and model, Internet based information is usually by VIN number
